Aspirus At Home is growing and adding to their Therapy Team! Join us as a Physical Therapist and provide compassionate home health care to patients in Medford, WI. While specific tasks may vary among departments, general responsibilities include:

Provides evaluation utilizing tests/measures to arrive at clinical assessment of patient's condition.

Processes information gathered during the evaluation to establish an appropriate treatment plan.

Establishes the treatment plan in accordance with the needs of specific age groups in terms of their physical and motor development, psychosocial development and intellectual/language development.

Performs ongoing re-evaluation of patient's response to treatment, determining appropriate modifications and timely discharge.

Clinically trains and supervises aide and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in carrying out treatment plan.

Provides adequate documentation for purposes of justifying reimbursement to third party payers, establishing baseline data and subsequent progress, and recording of treatment.

Communicates to other therapists and health professionals regarding patient status and progress.

Clinical oversight of CNA's delivery of care which may include assignment of duties and/or assurance of safe and effective delivery of care.

Contributes to the Home Health Quality assessment and/or Performance Improvement Process.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Experience in general practice of physical therapy with experience in area of specialization beneficial but not required.

Current Wisconsin licensure to practice Physical Therapy required.

Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Possesses and maintains a valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.

Possesses automobile liability insurance with $100,000/$300,000 coverage required, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability.


Candidates should possess one or more of the following:

Knowledge of physical therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
