Job Details


The Ultrasound Technologist performs complex ultrasound procedures while exercising professional judgment in the performance of services. Demonstrates the ability to obtain high quality diagnostic images and analyze the findings. Provides the radiologist with diagnostic evidence along with the pertinent clinical assessment, in order for a final diagnosis to be made.


  • Knowledge of standards and procedures as they relate to ultrasound normally acquired through graduation from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Possesses and maintains ARDMS Registry in Obstetrical/GYN or Abdomen and Physics or completes within 18 months of hire
  • ARDMS Registered in Vascular, Neurology and Echocardiology beneficial
  • Current BLS CPR
  • One of more years of clinical ultrasound experience is required - three years is preferred


  • Possesses ability to work with physicians, departments, patients and the public in a cooperative, courteous and tactful manner, with good communication skills necessary to convey instructions to patients in order to gain cooperation and compliance, to gain necessary clinical information and to convey patient information to nursing staff, physicians and co-workers
  • Demonstrates quality patient care skills
  • Displays an attitude of cooperation, helpfulness and good judgment
  • Adapts easily to change and contributes positively to the department
  • Possesses basic computer skills
  • Manages stress and pressure with emotional stability
  • Can organize and prioritize without assistance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
