Quality Inspector

Job Description
Position Overview:
Phillips-Medisize, LLC is seeking a Quality Inspector to support manufacturing production of injection molded parts and assembly.
Shift: 1st Shift 7am - 3pm
Essential Functions:
Perform inspections per control plans/inspection plans, document results, and make start-up decisions
Generate necessary Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, and review charts for violations of established rules of stability and capability
Operate precision measuring instruments in accordance with approved procedures
Perform statistical studies such as gage repeatability/reproducibility and capability studies
Complete capability studies and gage R&R analysis
Interpret visual and dimensional quality criteria to operators
Utilize SPC and quality system software programs
Participate in problem solving activities
Position Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of basic statistical techniques
Ability to operate inspection instruments
Basic computer literacy
Understanding of SPC software
Ability to read basic blue prints
This position does not qualify for VISA sponsorship

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
