Paint Mix

Position Overview:
Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Paint Mix for their Medford facility. Ensure timely and accurate paint mixing to improve the efficiency of all paint operations and improve the quality of parts painted
Shift: 1st 7am ? 3pm
Essential Functions:

  • Schedule and mix paint based on daily production schedules for all shifts

  • Complete all necessary logs and other recordkeeping as required

  • Provide technical assistance to paint room personnel

  • Remove hazardous waste to approved locations for paint room and paint mix room; perform daily audit of hazardous waste area

  • Ensure that all paint and supplies for paint room are maintained

  • Compliance to 6S. (100% compliance to cleaning schedule.)


Required Qualifications:

  • Know and understand procedures and hazards associated with chemical spills along and participate in required training.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude; ability to recognize potential problems with product or equipment and take corrective action

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision

  • Must be able to work with paints and solvents

  • Must have above average math skills

  • Ability to adapt to sudden changes in scheduling of product

  • Must be a self-starter and possess effective time-management skills


Physical Requirements
Lifting Requirements: able to lift 20lb to 50lbs consistently
Standing Requirements: able to stand more than 75% of shift
This position does not qualify for VISA sponsorship

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
