3rd shift Lab Technician
Job Description Kelly Service is looking to fill a 3rd shift Temp-to-Hire Lab Technician opening.
Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of lab experience, preferably in the food industry.
Must be a self starter and have strong attention to detail skills.
Starting pay for this position is 14.
31 an hour.
The primary job duties are:
To collect samples and perform the following test procedures with accuracy and precision and report results neatly and in a timely manner:
Understand and meet customer specifications, requirements and expectations.
Have a good understanding of the processing procedures and sequence of event timing involved with manufacturing a given product.
Utilize a control chart for monitoring pouch weights.
Understand coding, purchase order numbers, lot numbers, sampling procedures and be able to sample incoming raw ingredients and release/reject accordingly.
Understand and implement all elements of environmental program.
Document test results for finished goods, raw materials, environmentals and all other tests.
Insure that lab equipment is properly calibrated and sample materials are prepared to meet scheduled requirements.
Understand and follow GMP-s, SOP-s, and pest control program and contract customer operating procedures.
Notify all pertinent personnel of problems or potential problems.
Understand and implement HOLD procedure to isolate product or ingredient that deviates from specification.
Collect, label, pack and ship samples.
Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly manner.
Make reagents necessary for lab procedures.
